Community Arts
July 2015 – Present        Sparkles Hoop Troupe (www.sparkleshooptroupe.simdiff.com)
Co-founder and creative lead in Sparkles Hoop Troupe – Cardiff’s premier hula hoop dance troupe. This community based troupe performs regularly at various events and festivals. See website for further information.

After School Costume Making Workshops (For local carnival) - Planning and teaching weekly costume making workshops, working closely with Primary School and attached Sure Start Centre. Mixed age groups comprising of both KS1 and KS2 (5 - 11 years old).

May 2010 – Feb 2011 – ‘Stitch and Bitch’ club facilitator for military wives wanting to learn to craft and sew with fabric.

After School Club – ‘Upcycling’ Club - Planning and teaching weekly after school club – creating crafts and art using recycled materials (including paper making, sewing etc.). Cross Curricular club incorporating Science, Geography, D&T and Art - Mixed age groups – KS1 and KS2.

April 2010 – July 2010    ‘Shout Out’ Learning Disability Advocacy Group
Planning and directing drama workshops for young adults with learning disabilities. Creating (through collaboration) a piece of drama to raise awareness of independent living to be performed at a local learning disability conference

June 2009                         ‘It Can Happen to Anyone’
Collaborative drama piece with a group of homeless people in Medway, the story depicted what it was like to be homeless and how people had turned their lives around after homelessness. Included collaborative set and costume design.

Hobbies and Interests
Currently training in aerial circus – flying trapeze, aerial hoop and static trapeze at NoFit State Circus. I sing acapella with a vocal group in Cardiff, I also play guitar and clarinet. I have interests in Art, Languages, Community and Charity Volunteering, Baking, Theatre, Walking, Sewing and Crafts.
